Dr. Jen Bivins, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC
Assistant Professor
Dr. Bivins received her BSN in 2014 and her DNP in the pediatric primary care NP track in 2019 from the University of Kentucky. She has 6 years of bedside nursing experience in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and 4 years experience as an APRN for Pediatric Forensic Medicine at Kentucky Children's Hospital. Dr. Bivins has a special interest in child maltreatment.
Dr. Bivins joined the College of Nursing faculty in Fall 2024 as an assistant professor in the undergraduate program. She is invested in sharing her love for pediatric nursing with students.
