Dr. Kristen Makowski, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Dr. Kristen Makowski completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Eastern Kentucky University, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practice at Northern Kentucky University. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Kentucky. She brings more than 15 years of clinical experience in critical care and gastroenterology, and she currently practices as a nurse practitioner with the Department of Digestive Diseases and Nutrition at UK HealthCare. Dr. Makowski is an active member of the Kentucky Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
