Tammy Courtney, MSN, RN, CNE, QMPR-C

Tammy Courtney received her ADN from Midway College in 1984. She completed her BSN in 2013 and her MSN in 2015 at Indiana Wesleyan University. Professor Courtney began her career in adult acute care on an orthopedic/neurology unit and later moved to an intensive care unit, where she spent the next twelve years. Her love of the pediatric population began in 1996 when she moved to pediatric acute care where she stayed for the remainder of her bedside nursing career. She came to the University of Kentucky in 2013 and in 2015 began serving full time in the Clinical Simulation and Learning Center. She is now course coordinator over NUR 323 Health Assessment and Psychomotor Skills I and NUR 330 Health Assessment and Psychomotor Skills II.
