Tonya Anthony, PhD, RN, GB (NHC)
Assistant Professor
Dr. Tonya Anthony is a full-time Assistant Professor in the DNP program at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. She brings over 28 years of nursing experience, including executive operations leadership and extensive work in clinical process improvement. Her academic and professional background includes nursing education, leadership development, and systems-based practice.
Dr. Anthony earned her PhD in Health Professions Education from Bellarmine University and holds a Green Belt Certification in Process Improvement from Norton Healthcare. She is an active member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), Kentucky Nurses Association (KNA), Kentucky Organization of Nurse Leaders (KONL), and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
