Sigma Theta Tau - Delta Psi Chapter

This international honor society is devoted to the improvement of global health and has been an educational force in the College of Nursing by contributing to the preparation of nurse leaders. 

Graduate Nursing Activities and Advisory Council (GNAAC)

GNAAC has a variety of responsibilities, including serving as a liaison between students and administration, faculty and staff and planning and implementing programs of interest for graduate nursing students. Every graduate student enrolled in the College of Nursing is a GNAAC member.

Undergraduate Nursing Activities and Advisory Council (UNAAC)

UNAAC strives to be a liaison between the College’s dean and students. The council fosters communication so that students may voice their opinions regarding College procedures, activities and evaluation. Other functions of UNAAC consist of the implementation of undergraduate student activities, promoting resources and providing support to facilitate the successful progress of students.

Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors for the College of Nursing strive to enhance the image of professional nursing in Kentucky. They are essentially the face of the College, as they assist in information sessions, give tours and provide an idea to prospective students of what it’s really like to be a nursing student here at UK.

University Senate

The University Senate determines broad academic policies of the University. It meets on the second Monday of the month during the academic year at the W. T. Young Library and meetings are open to the public. Claire-Marie Hall, a student at the UK College of Nursing, is currently a student senator.

Interprofessional Healthcare Residential College (IHRC)

The IHRC is a high-impact, living-learning program (LLP) designed to meet the needs of undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare.
