The UK College of Nursing will host its annual Student Scholarship Showcase alongside the Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences Spring Conference from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on April 21, 2016 at the Lexington Convention Center.

“This is an amazing opportunity for research and scholarship within the College of Nursing to be highly visible among other health colleges,” said Dr. Janie Heath, dean and Warwick Professor of Nursing.

This year’s theme is “Personalized Health” and the conference keynote speaker will be Donna Arnett, PhD, MSPH, the new dean of the College of Public Health. College of Nursing students will give their oral presentations in the afternoon, followed by the College’s poster session.

“Dissemination of intellectual endeavors through scholarship is the means in which we demonstrate the knowledge of our discipline as well as individual achievement. Please join us in celebrating individual contributions and the nursing discipline at the Lexington Convention Center on the 21st!” says Patricia B. Howard, PhD, RN, FAAN, executive vice dean and Marion E. McKenna Professor.

The following presentations will take place from 1:45-3:25 p.m.
