College of Nursing Attends Annual Feast on Equality

Faculty and students from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing attended the annual Feast on Equality at the Gatton Student Center on Friday, December 7. 

This dinner and social event seeks to build support, increase community awareness and raise needed money that will allow LGBT organizations to grow and expand its mission of assisting at-risk LGBT youth. Over 500 attendees celebrated the university's inclusivity efforts and raised nearly $100 thousand for LGBTQ resources.

Feast On Equality UK is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose sole purpose is to raise funds for at-risk LGBT youth at the University of Kentucky by hosting signature fundraising events to engage the Lexington community and create awareness surrounding the issues that LGBT youth face. Funds raised directly impact the lives of students at UK and create countless opportunities that they wouldn’t have received otherwise.
