CON Faculty attend College of Medicine's First Faculty of Color Network Gala

University of Kentucky College of Nursing faculty attended the College of Medicine's first Faculty of Color Network (FCN) gala on Friday, Oct. 18. The theme was "Undeniable, Uncompromising, Unstoppable: Celebrating Diversity in Medicine and the Community."

The black-tie event honored pioneering physician, Dr. Marian A. Swope, and an emerging UK scholar, Jean Branttie. The proceeds from the event benefited the UK Center for Graduate and Professional Diversity Initiatives and The Nest Center for Women, Children and Families.
