Healthcare Simulation Week 2019

The College of Nursing celebrated Healthcare Simulation Week with a reception in its Clinical Simulation and Learning Center (CSLC) on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.

Students, faculty and staff joined the global simulation community for the week, recognizing professionals who improve the safety, effectiveness and quality of health care services every day. The week also raises awareness in communities nationwide about how health care simulation is leading us to a safer, more knowledgeable patient care.

The celebration follows the CSLC’s provisional accreditation awarded by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. It is the only accredited center in the state of Kentucky.
