Academic Advisor I

Job summary:

Responsible for advising approximately 250 students in the College of Nursing. Includes but not limited to mandatory priority registration advising, follow-up for probationary students, advising for first reinstatements after academic suspension; early alert notification and follow-up; mid-term grade notification and credit overload decisions. May teach NUR 101, as needed.

Manage compliance for all programs in CON. Includes working with vendor to create student document files and provide instructions to new admits about process. Also work with agencies to assure accuracy in required immunizations/documentation.
