Cathy Catlett, DNP, RN
Assistant Professor
Dr. Cathy Catlett was awarded her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University and her Masters’ of Science in Nursing from McKendree University. She began her nursing career at Albert B. Chandler Hospital in the intensive care unit. Dr. Catlett is an assistant Professor in the UK College of Nursing. She is Chair of UK College of Nursing interprofessional education and Fellow of the Center for interprofessional Health Education Center at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Catlett teaches health promotion and leadership courses in the traditional BSN, the Accelerated BSN as well as in the RN-BSN program.
Prior to coming to the College of Nursing in 2011, Dr. Catlett taught at the University of Colorado College of Nursing as an instructor specializing in simulation along with maintaining a clinical practice at the University of Colorado Hospital in the post-anesthesia care unit.
