Danica Amos, RN, DNP
Lecturer, Simulation Specialist
Danica Amos graduated from the University of Kentucky with her BSN in December of 2013 and began working at Baptist Health Lexington. She has been an RN on a medical-surgical/telemetry unit that also cares for pediatric patients. She returned to the University of Kentucky in 2016 to obtain her DNP. During her time as a graduate student, she was a teaching assistant in the undergraduate skills lab. Danica graduated from the DNP family practice program in May 2019 with a research focus on depression in primary care. In 2020 she joined the College of Nursing as an instructor in the skills lab full time, and in 2023 transitioned to a position within the CSLC.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and crafting!
