Jacqueline Thompson

Director of Communications

Jacqueline "Jackie" Thompson began her role as the College's Director of Communications in Nov. 2022. She most recently served as Information Office Supervisor at the Kentucky Department of Education. 

Jackie graduated in 2018 from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a minor in Writing, Rhetoric and Digital Studies. In her nearly six years as a communications specialist, she has worked in a variety of fields, including political strategic communication. She uses her diverse experience and storytelling ability to promote the work of the College. 

In her free time, Jackie enjoys spending time outside with her husband and her dog, and making new friends.
