I'm a science enthusiast originally from Lexington, KY, but currently in Nicholasville, KY. I fell in love with science in second grade when we had our first science (geology??) lesson. After high school, it was 13 years before I went to college to pursue my goal of teaching Biology. I tutored all of the Biology courses at BCTC while attending as a student. Once I earned my AS with a Biology focus, I progressed to UK and earned a BA in Secondary Science Education: Biology. I served as an Undergraduate TA for Gen Bio under Dr. Seabolt while continuing to tutor at BCTC. During that time, BCTC offered me a teaching position if I continued to the Masters level, so I went to UNK and earned my MS in Biology leaning heavily on Anatomy and Physiology coursework.
