Julie Ossege, PhD, FNP-BC, FNAP, FAANP
Associate Professor
Dr. Ossege has served on the BOD, Events planning, and Bylaws committees of the Kentucky Nurses Association. She is currently on the editorial board of the Kentucky Nurse and is editor of the Student Spotlight section. Additionally, over the past 30 years she has been past Regional Director, Board Member, Vice President, and Chair of the Research Committee for the Kentucky Association of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and was elected a Fellow in 2018. In 2017, Julie was inducted into the National Academics of Practice (NAP) as Distinguished Fellow - Practitioner where she serves on the Health Policy committee, Forum Planning Committee and Keynote Note Speaker subcommittee. Dr. Ossege contributed to the NAP interdisciplinary Telepractice Toolkit, https://www.napractice.org/nap-telepractice-toolkit Dr. Ossege is co-editor of a book for new NP graduates to be published by Springer Publishing in January 2025.
