Lacey Buckler, DNP, RN, ACNP-BC, NE-BC

Lacey Buckler earned her BSN from the University of Kentucky College of Nursing. There, she also earned an MSN in Acute Care and in December 2013, was awarded the Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Shortly after receiving her Doctorate, Lacey won the 'First Decade Award' from UK's College of Nursing Alumni Association in 2013; the criteria for this award includes, "...alumni in practice for 10 years or less... and who has laid the foundation for an exemplary career in nursing." Along with serving as the Nursing Director for Cardiovascular Service Line since 2012, Lacey has devoted tremendous amounts of time and enthusiastic energy to the support and growth of advanced practice providers across the UK HealthCare Enterprise. In the spring of 2015, Lacey rose to the administrative level of Assistant Chief Nurse Executive for Advanced Practice, Strategic Outreach, and Cardiovascular Nursing for UK Healthcare.
