Tricia Rogers, MS, RN

Tricia Rogers has 30 years of nursing experience to share. She earned her BSN from the Capstone College of Nursing at the University of Alabama in 1994 and her MS in Health Service Leadership and Management with a focus in Education from the University of Maryland in 2012. For the first several years of her practice, she served as a staff and charge nurse within inpatient and outpatient environments. Following her passion for teaching, she spent the next 15 years as an acute care clinical educator in Baltimore, MD. She has been with the UK College of Nursing since 2015 in the undergraduate program and now serves as a lecturer in the Health Assessment and Fundamentals course and a clinical faculty member in the Synthesis course. Tricia’s interests include lifelong learning and working with novice nursing students as they build their foundations of practice. She is currently pursuing her DNP in the Executive Leadership Track with an anticipated graduation date of May 2027. Her intended project is focused on peer feedback. Tricia is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American & Kentucky Nurses Associations.
