The University of Kentucky College of Nursing brought together distinguished nurse leaders from UK and across the state on May 12, 2022, with their Call to Post event to celebrate Kentucky nursing excellence. The event, held on Florence Nightingale's birthday, marked the College's first return to in-person celebrations (outside of graduation) since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020. The University of Kentucky College of Nursing honored its 81st Baccalaureate graduating class with a Pinning Ceremony at Memorial Coliseum on Friday, May 14, 2021. The ceremony was led by Janie Heath, dean of the UK College of Nursing, and Lindsey Osbourne, president of the Class of Spring 2021. Other featured speakers included Spring 2021 BSN graduates Jilian Adolf and Zachary Whitfield. Pictured above left to right are Julian Adolf and Zach Whitfield.

UK Nursing honors December 2020 Graduates with first-ever 'Park & Pin' ceremony

The University of Kentucky College of Nursing celebrated its 80th BSN graduating class with it's first-ever Park & Pin ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at Kroger Field's Blue Lot. The Park & Pin event took place in lieu of a traditional in-person Pinning ceremony in order to maintain safe and healthy physical distancing standards.
