College Holds Second Blessing of Hands Ceremony
The UK College of Nursing held its second semiannual Blessing of the Hands Ceremony on January 8, during which incoming nursing students heard remarks from College of Nursing faculty and UK HealthCare's chaplain. The ceremony symbolizes what it means to become a nurse and touch the lives of countless patients.
Students gathered in a large circle, exchanged words and lit flashlights to mark the beginning of their nursing careers.
