Re: CCNE Call for Third-Party Comments
The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)- a nationally recognized accrediting agency for baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs. The University of Kentucky College of Nursing is preparing for an on-site evaluation by CCNE on March 24-26, 2021. The BSN and DNP programs will be reviewed for reaccreditation and the MSN and Post-Graduate APRN Certificate programs will be reviewed for initial accreditation.
In accordance with the CCNE accreditation procedures, we are providing the opportunity for you to submit, in writing, third-party comments concerning the BSN, MSN, DNP, and/or the Post-Graduate APRN Certificate programs. Third-party comments must be received by CCNE no later than 21 days prior to the first day of the evaluation, your comments are due no later than March 3, 2021. All third-party comments must be written in English, consistent with CCNE’s policy on Conduct of Business in English. Comments are shared only with the CCNE evaluation team appointed to review our programs.
