With widespread isolation orders across the country, people are spending more prolonged periods of time inside their homes.  But what happens when those home environments are not safe?   

In Johnson & Johnson Nursing's recent SEE YOU NOW podcast, UK College of Nursing's Dr. Camille Burnett recently discussed the risks of increased incidents of domestic violence during the COVID-19 pandemic.  She talks about how nurses are in a unique position in their communities to screen, access, intervene, and meet people where they are—particularly responding to intimate partner violence.

Even in the middle of a pandemic, nurses and neighbors are looking out for one another and finding ways to make sure people are physically and emotionally protected.
