Dr. Whitney Spear, 2017 graduate of the College of Nursing DNP Program associated with the Norton Healthcare  Academic-Practice Partnership was a participant in a presentation at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Doctoral Conference on Friday, January 19. 2018. Dr. Lora Peppard of George Mason University led the presentation - A Value-Added Approach to Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBRIT) Integration within Doctoral Level Nursing Programs. Other student panelists represented George Mason, Johns Hopkins and University of Pittsburg programs of nursing. Congratulations to Whitney, as well as Committee Advisor Dr. Julie Ossege, Committee Members Drs. Kristin  and Dr. Lynne Jensen and Principal Investigator SBRIT HRSA grant, Dr. Dianna Inman!
