This Nursing Practice Seminar/Internship is designed to enhance a student’s clinical experience and knowledge. Students will study major nursing concepts in-depth as well as the roles of the professional nurse, and then apply that knowledge to their clinical practice experiences. 

Key Course Details: 

  • Internship Type: Experiential-Learning 
  • Students will study and complete practice-related projects of interest.
  • The Nurse Practice Internship can count as a cognate credit when taken for three semesters and all three credits are completed.
  • To be recognized as a Practice Intern at Pinning (Nursing Graduation): 
    • Successful completion of 3 semesters of course requirements 
    • Successful completion of experiential learning hours
    • Successful completion of a Practice Project 
  •  Applications are selected through area of interest, supplemental questions and a written “Letter of Interest.”
