The University of Kentucky College of Nursing offers four internship opportunities for undergraduate students.
They are:
- Health Equity Internship (NUR 336)
- Nursing Practice Internship (NUR 391)
- Nursing Research Internship (NUR 393)
- Nursing Education Internship (NUR 397)
Internship program requirements and details:
- The earliest students may apply for an internship course is during the 2nd semester
- Students must commit to three semesters and/or blocks of participation, enrolling in one hour per semester or block.
- Students may only participate in one internship.
- Upon acceptance, all students must register for the course that correlates with the internship program
- Interns who complete the required project and the three-semester/block requirement will be recognized at graduation
