College of Nursing Hosts Inaugural Silks, Saddles & Scrubs Soiree at Keeneland

The University of Kentucky College of Nursing hosted its inaugural Silks, Saddles & Scrubs Soiree on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Keeneland's Limestone Cafe.

The event raised money for student scholarships as part of an ongoing effort for Kentucky Can: The 21st Century Campaign.

"Thank you to Dr. Eli Capilouto, university president, as well as our donors for your generosity and support," says Janie Heath, PhD, RN, FAAN, FNAP, FAANP, dean and Warwick Professor of Nursing. "Because of you, the future of nursing is bright, and our nursing students will continue to serve the Commonwealth and beyond."
