Kentucky Deans, Students Advocate on Capitol Hill
Monday was a record day for the AACN Kentucky deans and students to meet with legislators advocating for Title XIII nursing workforce funding and Nursing NIH funding in Washington, D.C.
Kentucky Deans include Drs. Mary Kishman from NKU, Marcia Hobbs from Murray State and Sonya Hardin from Louisville. Students include Murray State CRNA student Michael Goss (UK BSN alum), UK PhD student Stacy Stanifer and UK Med-Vet student Matt Dixon. Legislators included Congressmen Hal Rogers, Andy Barr, Tom Massie and Brett Guthrie.
