Nursing Faculty Meet with Nation's Drug Czar

Kristin Ashford, PhD, APRN, WHNP-BC, FAAN, professor and associate dean of Undergraduate Faculty and Interprofessional Education Affairs, and Amanda Fallin-Bennett, PhD, RN, assistant professor, met with Jim Carroll, the national director of the Office of Drug Control Policy on Tuesday, March 19.

Currently, Dr. Ashford serves as founder of Beyond Birth, and Dr. Fallin-Bennett serves as the Director of Voices of Hope.

The group also met with Governor Matt Bevin, Congressman Andy Barr and Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton.
