Need to publish a data-based manuscript but don’t know where to start or how to find the time? In this week-long “working” institute, you will receive personal writing and statistical assistance from an exclusive group of internationally renowned faculty who will teach you approaches to prolific writing, data analysis, and publication. The goal of the Institute is to assist attendees to prepare a data-based manuscript that is ready to submit to a peer-reviewed journal for publication. The first week will consist of a curriculum-based writing experience. You may choose to add the second week for more intensive writing help and coaching.
- Discuss how to select a journal and prepare a manuscript for submission
- Identify strategies to overcome barriers to writing and become a prolific writer
- Identify and run appropriate statistical analyses to address specific aims
- Use appropriate text, table, and figures to report statistical findings
- Discuss how to anticipate and respond to reviewer critiques
- Demonstrate how to write an entire manuscript from start to finish
