  The College of Nursing had two teams participate in the 2016 Central Kentucky Heart Walk, which took place at the Keeneland Racecourse on Saturday, May 14.

Annual Student Scholarship Showcase to be Hosted Alongside Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences Spring Conference

  The UK College of Nursing will host its annual Student Scholarship Showcase alongside the Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences Spring Conference from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on April 21, 2016 at the Lexington Convention Center. “This is an amazing opportunity for research and scholarship within the College of Nursing to be highly visible among other health colleges,” said Dr. Janie Heath, dean and Warwick Professor of Nursing.

Kentucky Congressman Andy Barr Visits UK College of Nursing

  Kentucky Congressman Andy Barr visited the UK College of Nursing to learn more about its efforts in advancing Kentucky's nursing workforce and nursing science on Tues., April 5. Congressman Barr met with Dr. Janie Heath, dean and Warwick Professor of Nursing, as well as Dr. Pat Howard, executive vice dean of academic affairs and partnerships, and toured the third floor undergraduate nursing lounge and the Clinical Simulation and Learning Center.
