College of Nursing Congratulates UK’s Army ROTC Program on 100 Years

The University of Kentucky Army ROTC program held its 100th anniversary celebration breakfast at Buell Armory on March 22.
From 1917 to 2017, UK ROTC has commissioned thousands of Second Lieutenants. Since inception, UK’s Army officers have served honorably in every major conflict of the United States including WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Pictured above is undergraduate nursing student Casey Garstang, who will be commissioned in 2018.
