College of Nursing Hosts Annual Student Scholarship Showcase Alongside CCTS Conference

The UK College of Nursing scholarship showcase was held alongside the 14th annual spring conference of the UK Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) on April 15 at the Lexington Convention Center. While the CCTS supports research across the spectrum of diseases, this year's conference focused on "The Science of Health Policy and Systems Change."

Congratulations to Kent Brouwer - second degree BSN alumnus who is now in our DNP program - for winning third place in the 1 Minute Pitch Your Poster contest. Brouwer's poster is titled "An Interprofessional Approach to Promote Resilience Through Mindfulness and Self-Care Practices in an Acute Care Nursing Setting."
