*Please note: Effective January 2019, the Second Degree/MedVet Options will have a change in schedule. The new schedule will only start in January and will include summer sessions allowing students to complete all courses in 24 months consecutively. As a result of this change, there will be only one admission deadline – August 15 to start in January. Fall semester admissions end with the 2017 semester. See below.

Are you a medically trained veteran who is ready to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree?

Thank you for your military service! At the UK College of Nursing, we have designed a pathway in the BSN program that will capitalize on your prior training as a military medical professional. Upon meeting the pre-requisites for admission, students can complete the BSN in five semesters.

Learning through a combination of classroom, laboratory and supervised clinical-setting instruction, our BSN Program graduates professionals who are ready to meet the ever-changing challenges of today’s health care needs. Clinical-simulation facilities provide excellent laboratory learning opportunities. Most classes are kept small to promote more effective learning. The student-faculty ratio for undergraduate clinical courses is no more than 10-to-1.
