Nursing's Dr. Biddle receives grant from CDC/National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health
Congratulations to Martha Biddle PhD, APRN, CCNS, FAHA for her success in receiving a new federal pilot award from the CDC/National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health title “Exploring the Feasibility of a Start-up Incubator Intervention to Decrease Occupational Stress and Depression in Beginning Kentucky Farmers”.
This 12 month, $15,000 award, will address an existing knowledge gap related to occupational stress and depression in beginning farmers with a novel strategy of mentorship and a virtual community of support intervention.
Dr. Biddle is an associate professor at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing as well as a DNP Track Coordinator. She is also a certified clinical nurse specialist with a practice in the cardiology clinic at UK. More information on Dr. Biddle
