Welcome message from Dean Heath

Welcome to another year of great academic potential! As the Dean of the College of Nursing, I am thrilled to continue my commitment to fully "engage, envision and empower" the next generation of nurse providers, leaders and scholars – you, our outstanding students! 

In the nearly sixty years since the College first started forging its path of excellence, our roots have grown deeper and our aspirations have grown bolder. It is during this era of transformational change in the ways we teach, learn, practice, innovate and discover new science that we will crystalize our position as the best college in the country! I know that we will quickly find success thanks to the extraordinary leaders and legends among our faculty, staff, alumni, and partners; and because of you, our phenomenal students.

In the coming months, I hope to have an opportunity to meet each of you and hear your thoughts, insights and hopes for how the College can better help you reach your professional goals.
