Step 1: Apply for admission to UK as a Pre-Nursing Student
- All transcripts must be received by Undergraduate Admissions by March 1 in order for your application to be considered for the next academic year.
- Be sure to include information regarding any courses in progress on your application.
- Final grades for courses in progress must be received by May 10 to be considered for the applicant pool.
NOTE: Admissions sends completed applications to the College of Nursing for review. A completed application includes an official transcript from all schools attended (even for one course) and the paid UK application fee. Completed applications received by the College of Nursing after the March 1 deadline will not be considered, and the student will need to reapply for the next academic year.
Step 2: Pay Application Fee and Register for Interview
Interviews are conducted via an online platform. Applicants will need a computer with a camera to record responses to video questions. There is a $50 fee for the interview, payable by credit card. After payment, applicants will receive an email invitation to complete the interview. Instructions will be included in the invitation.
- On March 18, you will receive a separate email with a link to pay the $50 application/interview fee and information regarding registration for the interview.
- Your application to the BSN major is not complete without participating in an interview and writing exercise, and you will not be in the applicant pool for 2024-2025.
- The interview platform will be available March 18 - April 1.
