UK College of Nursing Faculty and Undergraduate Research Interns are Featured on JOGNN's Website

Amanda Fallin-Bennett, PhD, RN, assistant research professor, Kristin Ashford, PhD, WHNP-BC, FAAN, associate professor, and two undergraduate research interns, Alana Miller and Sara Assef, are featured on the Journal of Gynecology, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nursing’s (JOGNN) website for their paper, Perceptions of Electronic Cigarettes Among Medicaid-Eligible Pregnant and Postpartum Women, which is also published in the most recent edition of the JOGNN.

Their paper looks at how pregnant women are initially attracted to e-cigarettes as a harm reduction strategy, but they often return to traditional cigarettes in the postpartum period.
