UK, Asbury University announce nursing education partnership

WILMORE, Ky. (Jan. 11, 2024) — Asbury University and the University of Kentucky College of Nursing are pleased to announce a dual enrollment agreement for students to complete both an Asbury bachelor’s degree and, after transferring to UK with preferred admission to the UK College of Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in under five years, meeting a direct need for highly qualified nurses in the state of Kentucky and beyond.    

College football legend now advises, mentors students at UK’s College of Nursing

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 19, 2023) — Corey Moore was known for being one of the most intimidating defensive linemen in college football and went on to be one of the most decorated players in Virginia Tech’s program history. Moore was a defensive lineman at Virginia Tech from 1997 to 1999. During his time, he was named a two-time First Team All-American, two-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year and received both the Lombardi Award and Bronko Nagurski Trophy in the same season.

She is currently a Policy Fellow for Stanford Byers Biodesign Program in Stanford, California.    Dr. Dailey is a two-time UK graduate.
